This weekend sees the birth of the North's premier indoor metal festival ... The Metieval Festival at The Memorial Hall in Beverley. Saturday's line-up includes no fewer than 11 bands, 7 of which are local, with British folk metal legends Skyclad headlining. Sunday's event, run in conjunction with Beverley's own Sunday Live team, has 5 bands, 4 of which are local.

Co-organiser, Andrew Styles said 'We wanted to showcase local talent with some big out of town names. After the success of this year, things are already in motion to put on a bigger event next year!' Tickets are £12 (includes both days) And here's the line-up:
