Wednesday 2nd July - Simon Armitage Reads at Waterstones

One of Britain's favourite poets and an avid music lover (not to mention GCSE syllabus favourite), Simon Armitage will be talking about his new book, Gig: The Life and Times of a Rock-Star Fantasist (£16.99). We're really looking forward to having good old Armitage back in Hull, and even though Gig is of the music genre, his poetry fans will be able to get their copies of his many poetry compilations signed and dedicated too. This will take place in the Costa Coffee shop. Tickets are only £1 each and redeemable against a purchase during the event. From 6pm.
